There are junctures in our lives where we all need to stop and take a measure of who we are and how we are doing physically….a time to stop and get a read on the pulse of our body. Usually after periods of physical exertion, we do this by putting our fingers against a pulse point, such as our neck or our wrist to get to check how we are doing.
While these moments of physical examination are good, it doesn’t need to stop with the physical. We need to check our spiritual health as well. After the vigorous emotional exertion of the Christmas season, it’s a good time to examine our lives and see how we are doing by taking our spiritual pulse, in hopes of starting out this new year with a healthy spiritual relationship with Jesus Christ.
In this 5 week series, we’ll be examining 5 spiritual pulse points in an attempt to help us maximize our spiritual health and help us grasp the greatest life imaginable for us.
