• Welcome

    Glad you are here

  • Visiting?

Making Disciples Here & Everywhere for the Glory of God.

On your first visit, look for our “Visitor Parking” spaces at the west and north sides of the building. If you have small children you may want to park on the east side of the building by our preschool entrance for your convenience. Friendly folks will be ready to greet you at all of our major entrances and escort you to the sanctuary for worship. They can also help you identify a small group Bible study class where you can connect with others, and escort you to that class’ meeting location.

  • Worship

Making Disciples Here & Everywhere for the Glory of God.

Worshiping our Savior together is a core value for us and is a highlight of our week! Our two morning services are identical in style and are led by our Praise Team, Worship Choir and Orchestra. Because we believe God has spoken to us through His Word, we also place great emphasis in our services on faithful Bible preaching.

  • Children

Making Disciples Here & Everywhere for the Glory of God.

First Baptist is a family church and we want to do everything we can to help your children and students connect with God and grow in their faith. We think that happens best when families worship together with their children 1st grade and up. (Don’t worry, we know kids make noise!) While parents attend adult Bible study, we have exciting classes available for children of all ages. Students in 7th-12th grade typically attend the first worship service with their families (9 AM) and meet together in our student center for Bible study during the latter worship hour (10:40 AM). Hosts are available at all the entrances to help you navigate the halls and find these various locations.

The following NEW books are processed and ready to go!

The following titles have been added to the Library shelves:

1.   Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy by Eric Metaxas

The author presents Bonhoeffer as a clear-headed, deeply convicted  Christian who submitted to no one and nothing except God.  He also adds a new dimension to World War II ...  a wonderful biography.

2.   The Legacy Path by Brian Haynes

This is one of those rare books that is written by a pastor and passionate parent, full of practical wisdom for parents desiring to become the spiritual champions of their families.  This book was recommended for purchase by Pastor Scott.

3.   Fields of the Fatherless by C. Thomas Davis

In this world, God has called you to care for the orphan, the stranger, and the widow.  Fields of the Fatherless is a book that brings you back to what Christianity is really about: giving yourself to others; being Christ to a hurting world, and living for the world that comes next.

4.   The Hole in our Holiness by Kevin De Young

The hole in our holiness is that we don't seem to care much about holiness.  Or, at the very least, we don't understand it.  This is a book about God's power to help us grow in personal holiness and to enjoy the process of transformation.

5.   The Kingdom Focused Church by Gene Mims

This book will give you everything you need to achieve your church's full potential - and relief from the smorgasbord approach that does more harm than good by distracting you from the unique focus, nature, and mission of the church God has saved for you alone.

6.   Multiply by Francis Chan

Multiply will equip you to carry out Jesus' ministry and is designed to do what Jesus did: make discpiles who make disciples who make disciples ... until the world knows the truth of Jesus Christ,  Each of the 24 sessions in this book corresponds with an online video at www.multiplymovement.com.

7.   My Story, My Song by Lucimarian Roberts and Robin Roberts

This memoir shares pivotal moments in Lucimarian's intriguing life, revealing how God has sustained her with strength and hope.  Daughter Robin reflects at the close of each chapter on her extraordinary mother's character and influence.  Lucimarian's story - her song - will lift your spirits.
