Find A Group
We have a group for you!
First Baptist exists to make disciples here and everywhere for the glory of God. A disciple is a follower of Jesus. We are to be a follower and make followers. Following Jesus is about living and sharing the gospel of salvation and sanctification (growth in Christ-likeness). Following Jesus is about transformation in our lives to obey Him. The Bible and groups are two vital ways that help us. We believe disciple-making groups, where we can meet in community with others and study God’s Word, are a critical part of growing in Christ and a critical tool in reaching others for Christ. We offer several options and levels of disciple-making groups to assist you.
Sunday School and Life Group Testimonies
Life Groups are small groups of up to 16 people that focus on sermon application, focused discipleship training, your own spiritual health plan, service, and discipling others. They meet weekly at a variety of times at church, in homes, and other locations. For off-campus groups childcare arrangements vary by group needs. You may attend either or both a life group and Sunday School class. To learn more about Life Groups click here or fill out our Life Group Questionnaire.
Sunday School provides groups for all ages that focus on teaching, fellowship, ministry, and service. Sunday School groups meet concurrently with Sunday morning worship so you may attend before or after worship. Parents attending for the first-time with preschoolers and children are encouraged to go by information center C, by the preschool area, so we may help you locate your child’s room. Students, grades 7-12, will go to the Senior High area/Student Center B for the 10 am time only. Young Adult Singles meet at 11:30 am Junior High building.
