I am a Florida native, we are becoming harder and harder to find! I was born in Jacksonville and raised in the coastal Pensacola area. I am a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Life Services, and have been a member of the First Baptist staff since 1999. I was raised in a wonderful Christian home, and have been a believer since the age of nine. I am the mother of two awesome daughters, and I love the beauty of the beach - especially along the Gulf coast. I am an avid cyclist but also enjoy reading, collecting shark teeth, amateur interior design, and the wonders of children. I delight in the promises of my life verse, Isaiah 42:16, which speaks to a cyclist's heart but most importantly gives a clear reminder of God's faithfulness... "Along unfamiliar paths I will guide you; I will turn the darkness into light before you and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake you."
