In the Community

There are several opportunities to serve in our community:

Jesus is the Key, Bible on Parade

This is a visual display of all 66 books of the Bible and FBC is presenting the nativity scene this year.  We are currently looking for volunteers who would like to participate.  Please leave a message for Tania Bernard in the church office  723-0561 to see how you can be involved.

Hospice:

Volunteers with caring hearts are needed to reach out to hospice patients while they are living each day with a life-limiting illness and to help support the families of these  patients.  VITAS Innovative Hospice Care in Brevard County has scheduled a “New Volunteer Orientation” session for July 13, 14 & 15th from 10 am—4 pm each day.  The orientation will be held at Zion Church, 891 Coply St. SE, Palm Bay, FL  32909 in Room 5.  If you have previously been trained you are invited to participate in the Veteran Volunteer Specialty training on July 15 from 3pm—5 pm.  If you are interested in signing up for these classes, please RSVP by July 12, 2010 to LuAnn Moyer at 321-752-2530 or email at .
