Soul Surfer Movie on the FIT Campus - On February 3, 2012 Young Adult Ministry teamed up with Mission Melbourne/Palm Bay and Central Baptist Church to show this movie at the FIT outdoor amphitheater. Due to the high number of students from other countries, FIT is an international mission field.
Fall Family Fun Night: On October 29, 2011, we meet at the Edwards home for a great time of family fun. There were hay rides, crafts, and games for the kids, and of course you can't have a bonfire without roasting marshmallows! There was music and great food for everyone.
Summer Ministry Project: On June 4, 2011, our Young Married group helped needy individuals/families with some landscaping and yard work & clean-up. Jason Schack lead this effort and about 20 folks pitched in to help. The families we helped were overwhelmed and so thankful!
“2 to 1” Marriage Conference: In April of 2011 the Young Married Ministry held its second annual marriage conference. The Bay West Worship Band lead in worship and we had Bible teaching through a video series with Chip Ingrum and others with the theme "Marriage Built to Last." We had a special "date night" dinner with a time for couples to communicate and talk about specific things at their own table. There was some group discussion time and overall a fantastic opportunity for couples to reconnect with each other, and with other couples in our young adult ministry as well as visitors.
