Our Student Ministry is committed to developing the leadership skills of our students. Because of this, we are forming several key student leadership teams, composed of students who are interested in serving the Lord in our Student Ministry.
For this experience to be a positive one, anyone seeking to be on a leadership team will need to consider the following requirements, pray about it, and then fill out the application and return it no later than Sunday, July 19.
We believe that our Student Ministry should be
¨ Informed—therefore, we will spend time doing in-depth Bible studies.|
¨ Articulate—therefore, we will work at how to present Jesus Christ attractively and convincingly.
¨ Compassionate—therefore, we will be involved in those programs that meet needs. (Mission Trip, visitation, Conferences, etc,)
¨ Supportive—therefore, we will work at building good friendships.
Must be a student who takes living the Christian faith seriously
Must attend most Student Ministry events (80%)
a. Monthly Student Leadership Team meetings
b. Sunday morning and Wednesday night events
c. all activities, camps, and special events
Must be an example in Christian conduct and character. This involves striving for excellence in
a. Devotional live (scripture memory, accountability, evangelism training)
b. Friendships (visitation, greeters)
c. Schoolwork
d. Home life
Must be able to serve until July 2010 (one-year commitment)
