and attend to know understanding."      Proverbs 4:1

Sunday School

Sunday School for children grades 1-6 offers interactive learning groups featuring lessons, music, projects, and games that teach God's Word in a positive and friendly, age-appropriate atmosphere. In-service training seminars are provided for all children's workers updating them in areas of teaching children creatively and making Bible learning an enjoyable experience. Sunday School for children meets at 10:45 AM in the Education Building.

Children's Worship

Children are encouraged to attend Children's Worship in The Yard (short for "The Backyard" ). located upstairs in the Education Building. This worship experience uses the KidMo curriculum. It includes praise and worship, discipleship teaching (with a monthly theme), Bible verse memorization, games and get-acquainted activities, and small-group discussion and review. There are also focused prayer times and great take-home MapBooks which extend the weekly teaching into the home where it can be shared with the entire family. The goal of Children's Worship is to create a Sunday morning Christian growth experience that is the best it can be for your child.

Childcare Services

Childcare services are provided for older children whose parents attend Sanctuary Choir rehearsal on Wednesday nights, as well as those who attend Celebrate Recovery on Friday nights. Childcare for older children is also provided for periodic special events throughout the year.

Children's Music Opportunities

All children's choirs seek first to develop children as worshipers and then to help them develop musical skills, techniques, learn how to read music, and gain knowledge about musical instruments and composers. Children's Choirs meet on Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM during the school year.

Music Makers Choir is designed for children in grades 1-3. Room ED 109
