Children in Grades 1 through 6 attend Worship with their families in either the 9:15 AM or 10:45 AM service, then attend Children's Activites (Sunday School) the opposite hour.
Sunday School begins with a large-group praise session in "The Yard" (short for "The Backyard"), located in the ED Building, and continues with a small-group intensive learning session in grade-level classes.
The first Sunday morning session begins with sign-in at "The Yard" at 9:00 AM and concludes with pick-up at the child's appropriate grade-level classroom at 10:30 AM.
The second Sunday morning session begins with sign-in at "The Yard" at 10:30 AM and concludes with pick-up at the child's appropriate grade-level classroom at 12:00 Noon.
Childcare services are provided for children in Grades 1-6 whose parents attend Worship Choir & Orchestra warm-up on Sunday mornings and rehearsal on Wednesday nights.
All children's choirs seek first to develop children as worshipers and then to help them develop musical skills, techniques, learn how to read music, and gain knowledge about musical instruments and composers. Children's Choirs meet on Wednesday nights from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM during the school year.
Music Makers Choir is designed for children in grades 1-3. Room ED 109
Young Musicians Choir is designed for children in grades 4-6. Room ED 105
During the summer, children in Grades 1 through 6 participate in Summer Discipleship and Recreation. This program combines Bible verse memorization, weekly missions emphasis, and just plain fun each Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This program replaces Music Makers and Young Musicians Choirs which meet during the school calendar year.
Regisration Forms are available throughout the church or by contacting our Children's Ministry at 321-723-0561, Ext. 210. AWANA is an exciting Children's Ministry program for 3 year-olds (by September 1st AND potty trained) through 6th graders. AWANA meets on Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 7:45 PM during the school calendar year.
The goal of AWANA is to teach boys and girls the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. Children learn Bible verses and Bible truths as well as how to apply them to everyday life. Children also play exciting games and hear a Bible lesson each week. There is a mission focus and participation in several mission projects throughtout the year.
