In the inaugural series at Bay West, "Incomplete" talks about "the 6", six core values that our leadership team, through prayer and the Word, identified as principles that would drive the development of our campus.
1) SEEK God faithfully through His Word and prayer
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Hebrews 12:12
2) Attentively LOVE and value all people
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
John 15:12
3) Eagerly PARTICIPATE honestly in worship
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.
Romans 12:1
4) CULTIVATE healthy relationships with God's purposes in mind
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.
Luke 19:10
5) GIVE and serve generously
So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?
Luke 16:11
"And the King will say, 'I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!'
Matthew 25:40
6) Live a life that COMMUNICATES Chirst and His message
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age"
Matthew 28:19-20
All of these characterisics are admirable, but there's a 7th that makes them all golden...bet you can't guess what that is? :D
