In the formative stages of the Bay West Campus, some of our launch team couples got 
together and we spent some time seeking God about some important things for us to teach and encourage at Bay West. We meditated and prayed about the question, "When your life is on point with God, I mean really in tune, regardless of the positive or negative of your circumstances, what is always going on at those times?"
These were the six core values of Bay West that came from those meetings. and the statements reflect what we feel God has called us to be at Bay West.
1) SEEK God faithfully through His Word and prayer
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

2) Attentively LOVE and value all people
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
John 15:12
3) Eagerly PARTICIPATE honestly in worship
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.
Romans 12:1
4) CULTIVATE healthy relationships with God's purposes in mind
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.
Luke 19:10
5) GIVE and SERVE generously
So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?
Luke 16:11

6) Live a life that COMMUNICATES Christ and His message
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age"
